HR-2x box and broadband ethernet?

Am I correct in thinking I read somewhere that if you have one HR2x unit plugged into broadband any other HR2x box in the house will get the connection via the coax?

Or am I on planet wishful thinking

Dish receivers can do that, DirecTV doesn't.

Wishful thinking.

Each box needs it's own network connection.

along with its own ip address, so it needs to be networked seperately, its literally impossible.
