HR-22 Sound Breaking Up

For the last month, not often, the sound breaks up on my HD receiver. The sound is normal if I change channels, and is OK when I go back to the channel that was bad. The sound is as if parts of the audio was "chopped" out. If it happens when I'm recording, the recorded program's audio is also bad.
Anyone else have this? Is there any fix?

This is a known issue. Rather than change channels, just use the 'skip back 12 seconds' button. The audio that just played badly will now play perfectly. You can jump back to real time at any point. This happens on DISH DVRs too.
