I've got an old uniden analog receiver, and i was thinking of tuning it to a KU satellite AMC 9, well the feed is on AMC 9, transponder 4 ; so how will i know if my dish is pointed there..do i just program my digital receiver with AMC 9 and then once i find it store it and turn on my analog receiver? Hopefully it makes sense the way im asking it.

THanks

CHris

Yes, find the satellite using the digital receiver, then switch it off and turn on the analog receiver. Remember you will be stuck on the same polarity as the digital receiver is on, but that can easily be switched back and forth from H to V.

How do you mean it can be switched between h/v ; do you have to change that from the digital receiver?

The analog if slaved from the digital receiver will only get the same polarity as what the digital is on

So if the digital is on H, then the analog will get H polarities only
