How to transfer DishNetwork's DVR 721 programs to a new DVR 721 or to a hard drive

Hello,
I have Dish DVR 721. I am trying to get the programs to a new 721 receiver or even to a HD and then be able to burn it on DVDs.

I tried using PVR Explorer & PVR Explorer Pro but it doesn't even
start extracting. PVR Explorer Pro at least give the nice menu with
all my programs but when I try to extract it, it errors out. I tried
on Win2k & XP Pro.

I also tried using Knoppix CD, I am able to see the Partition # 8 and
there are lots of folders which I suspect are the recordings. But
all those files are .dat files (BOOK_MARK.DAT, REC_INDEX_DATA.DAT,
and REC_TRANSPORT_DATA.DAT files in each of the folder). I am not
sure how I am gonna use it. I even tried starting samba and able to
see it on the Win2k3 machine.

My question is how can I use those files?

Thank you for the post. I have already checked these three yahoo groups. They do not offer anything for the DVR 721.

According a subj of the thread I opened it to read how it was done, but found nothing.
Would be better add question mark to the subject line and thread name for avoid confusions .
