How to set up grey market account???
I'm wondering if anone can help me figure out how to subscribe to directv without going through a broker. I have a relative who lives in the US and has agreed to open a Directv account and I would share in the cost to have my setup over here in Canada. How would he go about doing this? I realize he has to call up and order first of all, but how will he activate my equipment and cards? Would I have to bring it over to his house to do it? Will my equipment work with out plugging it into the phone line? I wonder if he just has to give directv all the information, such as my card and receiver #, receiver model # etc. If someone could please help point me in the right direction it would be much appreciated, and I apologize if this isn't the right place for this question. I would rather not have to go through a broker for this if I can helkp it. TIA
