I have a Pansat 3500 and in the back it has the connections to receive the 3 cables to move the polarotator in the chaparral Fed.

I wanted to try another fta receiver, was looking at the Viewsat but in the picture it does not have connections for the 3 cables that come from the polarotator in the feed. How the viewsat moves the diodo to change from vertical to horizontal?

Apparently the Viewsat can't. Most DVB receivers don't have this feature. They either use a USAL's motor or they slave to an analog receiver. Or they use an lnbf that don't require a polarotor. The only DVB receivers, I can think of with this feature, are the Pansat's and Manhattan's. Some of the Manhattan's will also control an actuator.

Edit: kelleyga, you could slave it to your Pansat, but it would only get the polarity on the Pansat.
