What is the best on-line resource for evaluating the salary/compensation for a position? I know of several, but I'm sure there are more that I'm not finding. I figured the SatGuys braintrust can help with this question.

I will need to present my case by my geographic region (central PA, 16801 zipcode). I'm specifically looking at managerial postions within manufacturing, e.g. Quality Control or Assurance Manager. I have 10+ years experience and a masters degree in manufacturing management.

Any ideas...?

TIA and BRgds...

Well you can check through the states employment dept for starters, also look through the job websites such as monster, hotjob, ajb, ect ect ect and you should find out some info or you can also check with the department of labour in DC and they should have some info for you as well.

Tks. Van. I did look at the labor dept. data. You need to know the appropriate SICs to sort through much of that...
