I have a 722 coming and I have a question.

My house has 2 coax cables coming into each room where I have a HDTV in each room.

I need to buy that splitter type thing to allow me to split one cable into the 2 inputs on the 722. I see that this is what the installer did on one of my 622s.

Now how do I get HD output to the HDTV in the other room? I think I got confused on how this would work with TV2 and didn't want to figure out how to get cables to room2.

I thought the 722 is supposed to output HD on TV1 and TV2, but Dishnetwork site does not say this, it says TV2 outputs SD.

First of all it's not a splitter, it's a Dish Pro Separator.

DishNetwork site is correct, TV2 outputs SD not HD. You could use HDMI and Component at the same time, one for TV1 and the other one for TV2 but TV2 will watch the same thing as TV1.

What Randall said. You'll have to run a HDMI cable to your 2nd TV and hook up the 1st one via component (or vice versa). You'll get HD on both in Single mode, same channel, same time. Don't pay a bunch for your cable! Get it from monoprice.com . Great prices and fast shipping.
