I'm helping two ladies at work get HD set up at their newly built house. They are long time Dish customers with a single 3900 at their old house.

I'm going to have them call and order a 622 and ask to have the installer hook it up with two diplexers so they can watch the TV2 output in the rest of the house and hook up the 3900 in one bedroom just for that room. Will Dish do that without any extra charges? Better yet, how do we explain it to the Dish rep on the phone? I think they need the setup in the attached diagram.

Details: They have a single RG6 run to each room of the house all making a home run back to the garage attic near the scuttle hole.

Sounds like you got it figured out so the best thing to do is to talk to them or contact a local guy. They can get a dish mover wich covers up to two dishes and two receivers plus required switch(s), however if tv2 on the 622 is going to cover more than one tv then it would be a good idea to have one or two 4way splitters and a two way splitter on hand, it would also be a good idea for you to be there during the install as well.
