Looking over my recents bills for the last few months and I am averaging $150 a month for my Dish, Phone, and Internet. I have Americas 180 package with no premiums, and a 522. I've tried to work with SBC to get everything together on one bill to save some money but they cannot do so.

I have checked with two local Cable Companies (Time Warner and Everest) and they are will to offer me a Cable, Phone, and Internet package for $140. This is the highest package available which includes every single premium channel, enhanced services for my phone, and HDTV once I get my set next spring.

I like Dish. I do not want the hassles of switching back to cable again. Although the 522 is buggy as hell it still beats the competitors box. My contract with Dish expired last January. What is the best way to approach them about competing with my local providers? Any good tips? Thanks!

SBC can't take you on as a previous DISH customer until you have been separated for 6 Months. DISH can't offer you SBC service so you will have to leave or look for other alternative ways to lower your bill. In the front of my SBC phone book is a list of alternate phone providers, all you need is to save $10 and you would be about the same as the cable offer.

Should I Voom Now......or just wait
