If it is steel and still in good shape try to get it for free and put a prime focus Ku feed on it. Point it at 30 west or farther for some cool viewing.

I've got a 25 or so year old laptop. I'm sure it cost a couple thousand when new. I'd sell it for 100$ and the buyer would have to pay the shipping.
