Project
The Direct Sales Representative position is a door to door sales position Responsible for selling and promoting Comcast products with focus on video, high-speed internet and phone services. Also responsible for increasing product penetration in designated territories through sales to new and existing residential customers.
Tasks
Demonstrates strong understanding of Comcast products, promoting and selling offerings to individual customers by knocking every door within assigned territory and/or participating and representing Comcast at large events.
Display thorough and recent competitive knowledge of features, benefits, product differences, pricing, and campaigns for video, high-speed internet, and phone service.
Communicates and develops rapport with customers. Evaluates customer's existing and potential product needs and makes recommendations.
Increases customer understanding of Comcast products and pricing as well as competitive advantages over other service providers.
Evaluates competitive offers and frames responses to show the benefits of Comcast.
Meets and exceeds sales goals as established by local market.
Independently establishes and organizes daily sales activities.
Generates business through established and approved creative methods of lead generation.
Uses effective sales closing techniques to ensure product installation goal is achieved.
Has a proven track record of success in outbound sales environment with emphasis on business to consumer sales.
Displays thorough understanding of video, high-speed internet, and phone services.
Possesses impeccable communication, organization, and people skills, as well as strong customer service skills.
Illustrates strong technical capability (computer knowledge, billing system, databases).
Ability to work independently while using good judgment and discretion.
Evening and weekend hours required.
Requirements
Bachelors degree.
Demonstrated record of success in outbound sales environment with emphasis on business to consumer sales.
Ability to ask effective questions to understand the situation and customer issues/challenges.
Positive attitude: pursues sales goals with self-confidence and resolve, bounces back after disappointment or rejection.
Ability to quickly adapt when facing resistance or changing customer priorities.
Ability to maintain solid relationships with subscribers.
Reliable personal transportation. Valid Driver's license.
Ability to work extended hours and weekends.
