How much do you enjoy NFL games on Thanksgiving?

Does anyone else remember the 1980 Bears-Lions Thanksgiving Day game (I'm sure Paul and Jimbo do)?

The game went into overtime, Chicago won the coin toss, and the Bears David Williams returned the overtime kickoff about 95 yards to win the game.

Just another game in a long list of crushing defeats.

I agree that it's more fun watching the Lions when they are competitive. The last several years the pro games have been pretty boring.

It also doesn't help that I'm looking forward to more competitive college games which are played the next day, and that I'm usually wanting to sleep because of the wine and tryptophan in my system. :)

Refresh my memory, when was that?:D

How about when they beat my Bills in 1994 (Ironically, this was five months AFTER my family moved from Buffalo to Kenosha)?

Or their thrilling shootouts with the Broncos in 1990 or the Vikings in 1995?

The upset over the Bears in the 'Thumbs Up' season of 1991?

Or when they annihilated the Bears in 1997?

HDMM-I'm calling YOU out for an avatar bet!

Fun with drunken Mets fan
