I have been leasing a 522 DVR and 322 Receiver from dish for 4 years now. I have 2 501 DVRs that I own. I also have a second dish. Will Dish Network let me activate these 501s on my account. I have read that the maximum # of receivers is 6...will they let me activate these since they are DVRs? Thanks in advance!

I have one 622 and three 722's on my account. The 622 and two of the 722's are leased. Yes... you can have 6 receivers on your account. It doesn't matter what type they are.

If I remember right the total numbers of allowed receivers is 6. There is a limit of 4 that can be leased. The 6 can be dual tuners so that would let you have 12 tuners which hopefully would be enough. You should be able to add your owned receivers onto your account.

I called last night, as reported in another thread, and was informed I had to pay $599 if I wanted to add a 722 to my 622 and 625 that I have. After a back and forth with the ceo email I am getting a 722 installed on my upstairs LCD for $199 and then a $100 rebate. This will give me 2 HDDVRs for me and a 625 for my daughters sets. Great deal, unfortunate that I had to resort to emailing the ceo in order to get it. Wonder how many subs they lose that don't know they are there.
