How many dishes?

I have a dish 500 with the 301 & 501 receivers. Would like to upgrade to a 921
I'm getting the 110 & 119 satellites. Do I need another dish for the 61.5 satellite
to get high definition or not? Do you no if you need to subscribe to local channels to get off air reception on the 921?

Welcome, you do not need a second dish for HD at this time, who knows about the future. The second question I don't know, but maybe one of the mods will move it to a 921 forum.

You will have to subscribe to get the information in the guide to work with your locals. You do not have to subscribe for them to work, the guide will probably say something like "local programming" instead of the show that is on without subscribing.

If you want CBS-HD (and are eligible), you will need the second dish at 61.5
You will also pick up the HD Demo channel loop.
