How do I "record series" from a current event in the EPG?

If I select it from the guide, it just tunes to that channel. If I press "record", it just records that one episode of the series.
I seem to remember that, at one time, it would ask if I wanted to record only that episode or the series, just like it does when selecting a future program in the EPG. (Perhaps that was with my old 722k?)

Is it a currently airing program in the guide, or is it for a future time/date? At least the 722 would act differently if the event was current (selecting a current event would tune the channel, selecting a future event would trigger the recording options screen.)

Use INFO button. There are the choices.

My question, verbatim, was "How do I "record series" from a current event in the EPG?" I leave it to you to interpret its meaning through its cloud of ambiguity. ;)

Damn, who knew that glossing over one word in a sentence would completely change its meaning??? :D

Ha... I would normally just set it up then change the timer to a series... This will save a few button presses! Good catch KAB!
