How can i us my directv dish for free to air viewing

Hello,

I just signed up and i love your forum's, I have a like new "18" directv dish and i'm looking for information on using my directv dish for free to air tv viewing, Any information, instruction's or how to's would be great...Thank You:)

osu1991 is right, a Directv dish is much too small for fta reception. I suggest you check out the fta section here. There is a lot of good info.
 
Hi and welcome! 18" really is too small to get reliable FTA signals. It would only be good for experimentation by someone who has a lot of experience in FTA reception. If you are just starting out here is a system that is recommended for most beginners. It includes everything you should need to get started:


If you like the hobby you can add this motor to access your entire viewable satellite arc and get more channels.
