How about starting a new forum dedicated to E* sports packages/channels. It seems that the majority of new threads here have very little to do with Dish HD except wanting some sports channel in HD.

Oh, I don't know. According to Tiki, E* had more NFL Football than anyone could possibly want.
You could create a new E* programming suggestion forum and make sports a subforum..maybe a subforum for channels that e* will NEVER carry such as YES
This is what I see E*'s sports content becoming:
- Tumbleweeds rolling by in glorious high-definition
- Crickets chirping in amazing 5.1 Dolby Digital surround sound
Because of the timing. The timelines of the E* decision on MLB:Extra Innings and the startup of offering RSNs in HD have landed at the same moment.
Was anything announced, officially regarding EI on DISH?

Yeah, doesn't sound good for EI. Move to get your team(s) or get D* if that's your bag.
Pissed at MLB, not DISH! Most subs don't care and DISH didn't market EI or even itself...
