Hopper3 CC problem

Is there a way to get back control of the CC on the Hopper3? I used to be able to have the background of the caption box at 50% opacity, Now it is 100% all the time . SW ver U544.

You should be able to go to settings in the menu screen and select Closed Captioning. You should be able to make changes there.

I'm aware. The settings change but the displayed CC remains opaque.

I believe that to be a bug in 544. Following is how I have it set. On my Hopper 3 it is as you describe, same setting on my Joey it works as expected.

Closed Captoning On
TEXT
Color White
Size Large (200%)
Style Monospaced, No Serifs

BACKGROUND
Color Black
Opacity Semi-Transparent (50%)

ADDITIONAL OPTIONS
Text Edges Drop Shadow
Text Opacity Solid (100%)
Window Color Black
Window Opacity No Window (0%)
Capitioning Service 1 (Default)

I have had this issue since 544, currently on the road for past week, dont now if my H3 has updated while nobody has been home for past week, should be back in next 2 days and will see if the new SW Update has fixed this.

Problem has been corrected with 547.
