The Hopper is very easy to use. My techno-phope wife has figured it out.

Is it possible to view recording on the eHD that is connected to the Hopper from the TV that is connected via the Joey?

Yes. The Joey can see the programs on the external Hard disk drive of the Hopper it is linked too.
