Wife's Hopper is still on 207. Just went and took pictures of the tons of timers she entered.

Why don't you just back them in the remote and restore them after the change?

one hopper finally got s209 this morning. other hopper and joey are still on the old versions.

Wonder if the mass rollout is still happening today....

Finally got S209 on the Hopper (and S261 on the Joeys)!
I am happy to see a Terabyte of DVR space available for my recordings!

Unfortunately, some programs on my EHD still refuse to play (error code 013). :(
I will post the details in a separate thread.

Sent from my iPad 3 using SatelliteGuys

I got S209 yesterday, and one NICE thing I noticed is while PTAT is recording, all 4 shows show up in the "what's being used (red button)" and can be joined in progress. MUCH nicer!

I got S2.09 this morning. I had to restart the linked Joey because it was unlinked, a simple restart fixed the issue. I also noticed Joey is S261? I thought S260 was the deal? obviously things are changing quickly.

When accessing the EHD the attached Hopper did some kind of re-athorizing, which at the time was disconcerting because there have been reports of losing recordings, that was not the case and the 00 Error message is gone, no repeated attempts to play recordings are required.

A disappointment was the EHD icons/art/pictures are still incomplete. Some of the pictures are a generic type style, a few are accurate, and many are blank....not a deal breaker just annoying.

This was mentioned in the release notes for S209. Prior to 209 playback would time out if the EHD was not ready (had spun down). You needed to reselect the program to get it to play. Alert 1221 simply tells you to stand by. The receiver isn't erasing any programs or anything. I agree the wording is a bit worrisome. Would have much better with something like "waiting for external drive".

My primary hopper got updated yesterday morning, none of my joeys got updated yet witch caused me a little issue, during prime time the joeys will not see the tuners of the primary hopper, I can view dvr content on them no problem. And it just seems to be during prime time that the issue is there. Hopefully they will update soon, but they were still on 259 this morning when I left for work. At least at the moment I can link to my second hopper to view live tuners. At least till it updates.

209 on both Hoppers as of yesterday AM. I had 3 Seek timers which were victims of the update, all normal DVR timers survived.

I tried re-entering the 3 Seek timers but I'm not convinced they're working yet (one of them definitely had matches before the upgrade but didn't after I re-entered it).

No other problems yet (knock on wood) and wife is thrilled by how much space we have now.
