1 Hopper 2 Joey Install...$100 plus 2yr commitment

(Want to see if the installer can wire to my shed outside so I can move a joey out there on the summer)

Is there anything I need to know for the 3/18 install???

Tips Tricks Helpful Advice..

Anything I need to ask the installer???

Same here, supposed to be between 12-5, hoping that is was going to be earlier in the timebox. The cabling at the box outside should be straightforward, I hear the SW downloads take a while on the Hopper and Joey.

Just got a call from the tech that said he is running behind...he said he hopes to be here by 6 and it could take 3-4 hours to install...is that about the avg time???

It took my tech 5+ hours. However, he didn't know that the units needed to be authorized prior to software download. 3 hours was wasted on that, so install would have only been about 2.

I had my install on Friday and I agree that it would be helpful to mention to the tech that the hoppers must be fully set up first and watching live TV. They might already know that, but the techs that did my install had never done a hopper/Joey setup so they didn't know to wait. Only after talking to another tech and going through all the joeys on the truck were they told they had to do those last. They had to go back and get more joeys because not waiting caused something in their software to go wrong.

Other than that the install didn't take too long and I am enjoying the new equipment (2 hopper/2 Joey). Can't wait until the hoppers can interact with one another!

GREAT INSTALL!!!

Tech arrived around 5:45 out by 6:30-6:35...knew wrist he was doing and very experienced...downloading the software is what took so long haha

Cant wait to play with my new toy!!!
