Hopper cant see OTA adapter

Now that I actually need the ota adapter to work since I dont have NBC it does not. Ive unplugged it and tried the other usb ports. I know the ports are good since my HopperGo works in them. Rebooted the Hopper several times with the adapter connected and disconnected. I left the Hopper unplugged last night. My antenna is good because it works fine when directly connected to my TV. My 3 month old ota adapter still cant be recognized by the H3. When I go to settings - OTA antenna - I just get the page that is asking me to connect the ota adapter. Its connected! So I think I have a dead adapter. I contacted dish chat support and they are out of the adapters and don't know when they will get them.
Anyone seen this before?

Yep except dish is out and they dont know when they will get any in stock. I could buy one from another online store..

Good luck....I've been trying to find one not marked up beyond belief for a while since Dish ran out.
