Hopper and Joey Energy Usage

Since I already had the Kill-A-Watt out, i plugged it into the other hopper and it ran 37W on average. About a watt less than the other one. Pretty consistent.

Did anyone else check their system just to get some extra verification?

I used the P4400 Kill A Watt for mine.

I have a P4460 but I'm kinda lazy, especially when it comes to accessing wires that are stuffed away behind furniture. I also need to get something like this : Amazon.com: SF Cable, 3ft 16 AWG Outlet Saver Power Extension Cord (NEMA 5-15R to NEMA 5-15P): Electronics to make it more manageable. I'll see if I can't muster up the will to dive into the hive sooner or later.

Found this doing a search, and thought Id add my results for someone looking in the future. I need a new UPS for my second Hopper and was curious of the wattage.

Recording 4 things at once and "on" (42 to 43.5 watts).

For those of you wanting to upgrade

Replace a DPP44 with a DPP33?
