My DIRT member also disappeared during the conversation. I called DISH and got everything that I was quoted by DIRT (Sam H). Took less then 5 minutes and I'm set up for Sunday 12-5 install. Free upgrade and free tech visit, had to add protection plan. Already PM'd Sam to let him know.

One day when I have plenty of time, might play with that 1000.4 again. I just wanted to get up what gave the best performance today, so I went with the 1000.2 that I had. So far it does nearly as good as my 3 dish setup.

Just got my 4K Joey in. I have it hooked up and it is downloading its software. These things are TINY. Now, to get a 4K TV, haha

Just checked and the mydish.com web site is back up.

If you have issues getting to mydish.com as its up and down just goto my.dish.com and it will load. mydish.com is still down for me.

I didn't notice the . but I tried both ways (mydish.com and my.dish.com) they both worked.

mydish.com is still not working for me, but DNS does take up to 48 hours to complete.

Has anyone that already have the H3 tried to transfer programming through the Ethernet connection. Any problems, and can the PTAT recordings be transferred?

Not sure if its working yet... You could always give it a shot and let us know.

Last time I tried it it say is would take 2.5 days to transfer after 2.5 days it said it was done, but it never actually copied anything.

I've got most of the recordings transferred to the EHD but some of the PTAT programs that I saved won't transfer for some reason. I'll try to see what I can do tomorrow and post my findings here or see if a more appropriate thread would be better and post it there.

Any self powered (plugs into the wall) 2TB drive should work. Get a USB 3 drive and the transfer back to the Hopper 3 will go a lot faster.

I hit the same problem when I tried transferring from our H1 to the HWS. After I posted the problem someone said to turn the PTAT off and the programs should transfer, but I complained too late and lost the programs. Not sure if that will work but give it a try and let us know if it does.

Change the days to save setting in PTAT to 1. You probably are set to the default 8, that's why they won't go. Turning off PTAT won't do it after the fact.
