Scherrman just order 1 from the same place the others have. Chances are you'll have it in your possession before the release date. No sense feeling left out.
I actually do like the remote better than I thought I would.
You can go ahead and swap out the LNB and node. Then be ready to call Dish at 12:01am on whatever date they go live.
Yep. Should be able to hook up the whole system up until the point where it tells you to call and activate it. Although I'm not sure about it's initial download though.
It actually fits nice in the hand and the layout is not bad. Obviously, I havent used it yet, but it felt pretty good, better than I thought.I actually do like the remote better than I thought I would.
Maybe later. Not at release.I thought they were going to come with the new touch pad remote.
If you have been following threads, that isn't going to happen for a while. Apparently the touchpad 50 remote isn't ready for primetime yet...I thought they were going to come with the new touch pad remote.

LMAO! I should have read that a little better before I posted shouldn't I.That's what she said
Good thing is I heard that the Hoppers can backup timers. How does that work on the Hopper anyway? (GAWD I am behind in Dish hardware, HUH?) LOL
So the backed up timers are in the Remote! It actually happens automatically, but you can manually do it via the menu if you want. It is really a cool feature.
