Okay, is the Joey 2.0 wireless or can it be?
My firmware it's slow and my online account says so.
And I joined sat guys. Needed to pull my weight
I think I heard a one time $50 charge for the wireless joey access point and the Joey is $7 per month. Let me know if this is not right - I am thinking of going this route when I ask for my upgrade. No the Joey is not wireless but you can get a wireless Joey. (Which is the same speedboat the 2.0) I believe that is a $25 charge for one.
My install is done. Damn! This thing is fast!

Yes. Swapped to the new dish, put H3 in place and stepped through the process. No glitches at all. He did say that the shop people had gotten it ready so it didn't have to download software which shortened the setup time.Did the install go easy?
Yes. The activation for the Joeys is actually stored in the Hopper, so he should be able to no problem. Can the installer get all the new joeys authorized on the account without installing them? My husband will be working in his studio when he is here and I don't really want to disturb him.
The installer is really supposed to make sure it works before leaving. Way around that is to simply use the same TV for the Joey that will go in the den. That presumes there is cabling ran into the den that's connected to the Hopper. Can the installer get all the new joeys authorized on the account without installing them?
