Does anyone know the reason the 4k Joey is shipping with the 40.0 remote?
Because they have been sitting in warehouses for a few months now, before the other remote was ready.
And yes DIRT will be working tomorrow and sending PM's for upgrades.

According to the release Netflix, Sports Bar Mode and YouTube will not be available at launch. These features will be available in coming months. Sorry, but I don't have any other details as to when.
Any benefits to a 4K Joey if you only have one 4K tv?
Thanks for the info Scott. So would we be able to purchase the 52 remote separately? Maybe I will just wait and get the touch/voice remote for all of them when its ready.
It will do PIP but will not support it at release. It does PIP and is faster.
Yes the 52 remote will be available for $20 from DISH or your local retailer.
Doubtful the 52 remote is not the touch pad remoteThe voice controlled, touchpad enabled remote will sell for only $20 ?

No, no price point or release date for the Touchpad voice controlled remote. The voice controlled, touchpad enabled remote will sell for only $20 ?
I am with you ! I will let the other guys drive it around the block for awhile till I dive in .,The 922 is on sale .So who will be the first to start a thread complaining about activation failure or wonky behavior?
So to be clear, if you want the Joey 4K it is $50 Plus $20 for the new Remote or $70 to make it just like a Joey 2.0 but many times faster and with PIP.
Am I reading this right?
