You want to see the mother of all HD disc recorders, take a look at this Toshiba. Me like...just can't argue w/ 1TB of hard disc storage AND the ability to archive your tasty HD material. I saw this on Gizmodo many a moon ago and got the big craving.

BTW, it's Japan-only for the foreseeable future. And it's not out yet, despite a first expected release of this past July. Wah-waaah.
