A while back, in preparation for the upcoming remote DVR scheduling via Dish Online, I got the necessary Homeplug devices and hooked up my 622 per the steps outlined below:- Using the receiver’s remote control, press 1. MENU, select [FONT=Trebuchet MS,Trebuchet MS]System Setup[/FONT], [FONT=Trebuchet MS,Trebuchet MS]Installation[/FONT], [FONT=Trebuchet MS,Trebuchet MS]Broadband Setup[/FONT], then [FONT=Trebuchet MS,Trebuchet MS]Web Activation[/FONT].
- Using the remote control’s alphanumeric keypad, enter a Receiver Nickname.
- Select Activate to connect your receiver to your DishONLINE.com account.
But, out of curiousity, I went in and checked recently if it was still set up properly, and didn't look like there was a connection, and in fact the "Web Activation" option wasn't even present any longer!
There was a 'reset connection' button that I hit, but it failed to do anything.
Was there some software update that took away the Web Activation option? And if so, I guess it'll be replaced with something else once they implement Online DVR Scheduling? Or does my 622/Broadband setup have other issues??
