I currently have Dish and the DVR 625. I subscribe to the 120 channels. I am within 40 miles of the local channel HDTV channels. I do not know how to hook this up so that i can pick up local channels in HDTV. Is this possible?

I did go to that site. That is how I found out that i am close enough. I just dont know how to actually set it up if I buy one. In the back of the DVR625 I guess....

If the towers are about 40 miles then you will most likely not have any luck with an indoor antenna.

Do you have a 625 or is it a 622? If it is a 625 it is a standard definition receiver and you will never get HDTV through it.

That is a Standard Def receiver..In order to recive HD locals via antenna your tV must be HDTV "built in"... have it's own atsc tuner....
