Home media share stopped working

So earlier today I decided to use my hopper to view my media from my server pc for the 2nd time today but now my hopper won’t even see any locations which is weird because it usually sees my DIRECTV but it won’t even see it. By the way I’m useing Emby on the media center pc. It is also a hopper 1st gen

To be honest, I am surprised it continued to work this long for you. What software version is your Hopper using? (It looks like you are still on the really old interface.) For most Hoppers, the Home Media app was completely removed with this software update from December 2020:

New Software: Hopper Duo (U992), Hopper 1 (U917), Hopper 2 (U742), Hopper 3 (U939), Wally (U827)

This is the new sticky thread for discussing any changes made by the newest software release. The new Application Software version is AN459a. Hopper and Wally software versions are listed in the thread title. Available Joey Software versions (which should be the same, regardless of Hopper...

For Wally receivers, the Home Media app was removed with W501 in March 2021:

This is a hopper 1 that hasent been used since 2016. I haven’t yet recived my hopper 2 yet which you might know about from my other thread. I also fixed it but the software is S614 1/14/2016

Thanks, I also fixed the problem. Turns out windows firewall was blocking the hopper.
