Favre: Happily Retired, But...
I don't think this story is going away anytime soon........
From Washington Post Article:
Quarterback Brett Favre told the Biloxi Sun-Herald that he's not reconsidering his decision to retire, at least not at this point.
But he said he would be tempted to return to the Green Bay Packers next season if his successor, Aaron Rodgers, gets hurt and the team calls, needing a fill-in.
"It would be hard to pass up, I guess," Favre told the newspaper. "... Yeah, I can probably be up there doing that and playing, but again, I don't know. It's only speculating. I think the world of that team. I had a lot of fun, not only this year, but over my career.... Aaron has fallen into a great situation. And if that opportunity presented itself and they did call, it would be tempting. And I very well could be enticed to do it."
Favre also told the paper he's "happy" with his decision to retire.
