I have a question about the (standard) Linear LNB. I am not challenging any Master or masters here but I think I have a problem with the reasoning behind it.

Here it goes.!!

If the standard LNB are use for European Sat, That means that they are use to read the European bean. Right??
Now, If the same satellite has an American or the Hemis. Bean that means that the digital LNB could be use to get the European Sat. Right.

So here come my request!

Please list all of you that can get the HIspasat 1 and the type of LNB that U are using.

We would like to see the results to kill the Fallacy that I read before. I am sorry if I am offending any Master Tech with this Tec question.

Most satellites in Europe use Universal frequencies. This is the “low” side of the Universal LNB. Only thing here in N American that uses it is PAS9 (58W)

No. When you think of “beams” think like a flashlight. The Beam is what is lit up. If you aren’t within the “beam”, you can’t pick it up.

scroll down to Hispasat and that’s what you can pick up with any LNB :D

Okay,

I think I am half way there. I am not sold 100% with the Bean (flash lite) deal but I think I got it. I guess I am a visual learner.

Now, What will be the best choice of (LNB) for some one that Want to see Both Signal all the time. Like AMC-4 and Hispasat 1. Choices and prices?

Muchas Gracias Senior.

think of when you use a flashlight...the part that is lit up would be the "beam"

motorized unit (Hispast is at 30W and AMC4 is at 101....cant see that far of a distance unless you use 2 dishes (or a motorized))

WEll,
I am the proud owner of a hh100. I installed myself in 30 minutes flat. However the stupit Motor is an european one. Italian made and the pole is 2 1/8 inches in diameter. The antenna has a mount of 1 1.2 inches I had to rigged the silly thing. It is working but I have to fine tune it every time that I made those big wide left right sweep. I got a German idea to fix the mess. I used .50 phennin of cloth hunger wire. :>)

So, What is the best choice of LNB for my case.

Gee,

You were 20 minutes too late. I already placed an order through sadoun with my CC. I ordered the Invacon universal single KU 0.3 DB LNBF SNH-031.

Now, What I do need next is an antenna that will fix my hh100 2 1/8 pole. I think fortec star 36 could be my choice. Do you have anything else that will fix my hh100?
