You want to take the RF output from TV2 connector and send it to 3 TV locations.
Any three way coupler will have about a 5db loss (to each ioutput) plus any loss incured from the cable. You don't really need the 2Ghz coupler as you're just sending a UHF channel. Use the lowest UHF channel to minimize loss. Most likely any 3 way spil will have no real affect to the TVs but if any of the locations appear too degraded you can try a 4 way distribution amp as another option. You can also use a 10db single amp to boost the signal then
use the 3 way coupler (actually this may be the better option if you already bought the coupler).

Depending on your luck with the wiring, you might actually find the higher channels work better (less interference). Dunno why, but that was my case anyway :| The lower numbers got fuzzy while the high ones were as if it was plugged in via composite locally.

If you already have the coupler, an in line amplifier might work. If anything, an in line amp + splitter is cheaper than one that does both.

one thing i have learned.....i dont get lucky...
i have a couple of radio shack splitters laying around.,...
think ill give them a try....

first ill try a direct line to TV2 see how the pic looks...
the easy to use manual dish provided with the receiver..suggests finding 3 channels that have solid snow....ill try the lower numbers then the high ones...

as for a coupler.....any suggestions of a good one?...or will the radio shack stuff work>??

thanks

I thought the 942 tv2 output was already amplitied 10db........is that not true?

I'm all for buying your splitters from the vendor suggested above.
I recommend him a lot for big stuff as he's very inexpensive.
However, I've also bought quite a bit of the piddly stuff here and at a buck a splitter, they work fine (even on UHF)
Lot of other goodies, so you'll have to do your own homework as to whether he's competitive or not.

Adding Dish 6000 to my system

Are all receivers compatible with Dish 1000?
