Hide Channel Display?

Is it possible to suppress the channel information banner from being displayed when changing channels on Dish STBs, or turn it off altogether?

I figured if it were possible at all, someone here would know the answer.

Quickly hitting Cancel button takes it away faster. Nothing to eliminate it showing at all.

I agree +1.It will disappear as fast as you can press the Cancel Button.But on the other hand if you want it to stay on screen like to check your OTA signal levels press the Browse button.

(But, you can push the "Select" button.)
