Does anyone know if Direct will now get rid of the -1 and just use the same channel number they use for the SD station, like they do with all other simulcasted SD and HD channels?

As of 6AM this morning, they did do this. On my HR20, 229 is now HGTVHD and 231 is FOODHD. The SD duplicate of each was automatically hidden from my guide.

Looks like the just remove the -1 from the channels. My called me and told my thwe receiver had rebooted all of a sudden. and when it came back the -1's were gone. I better check my series record set up

Yep, they got rid of them. My receiver didn't reboot, but I can't tune to the 229-1 and 231-1 channels anymore.
