I don't have a Hopper 3 - It's still there in my receiver, and I see nowhere in the uplink report by James that it was deleted.

funny scott really guys i just checked james long website no uplink report today i knew about the olympics channels going away since the olympics is now over with.scott did you get a pre uplink report today anything good on it?

You're not that familiar with the uplink reports then, are you ? The uplink reports often (or used to) show new channels uplinked before they're made available to subscribers.

Yes, but the same question could be asked: "How does this impact you? You need an uplink report to show you channels that are not available on your TV?"

It shows channels that are coming or may be coming before there's any public announcement. Granted, that hasn't seemed to have happened in quite a while though. Channels have been uplinked for weeks before they're made available. Others get uplinked, then go away.
