When you're a retailer there is no holiday pay or seniority. You just do the job because you have to. As for Dish techs, I'm not sure if they get holiday pay either. Seems like they work their butts off for average pay.

DNS techs do get holiday pay. If you work it you get holiday plus regular rate, and last year they started this thing where they also give you an additional incentive to volunteer. I don't know if its the same in all markets but its a 100 dollar bonus in my office. I volunteered all 3 holidays last year. Not this year though.
