HEVC .265 vs .264 vs uncompressed DVB-S2

H.264 can be modulated all sorts of other ways other than DVB-S2.

It seems that most Ku broadcasts are either DBV-S or DVB-S2 these days, though. But I will say I am still relatively new to this, so I welcome others to chime in.

There are other modulation systems than DVB-S and DVB-S2, even on ku . Shaw Direct uses Digicipher II modulation on 107w. On C-band you can find the former three modulation types plus a h265 type for 4K . There might even be more that I'm not aware of.

What I'm primarily concerned with is identifying the modulation parameters of wild feeds found FTA on Ku only, so that when I post them here, I am posting the correct (and informed) information. I don't have access to C-band or any scrambled feeds at the moment.
