Just wish they would do away with the stupid HD and DVR fees.
I have 3 HR24's and ain't giving them up.there still offering the all in one packages. weather there cheaper or not who knows
Me too, but that has nothing to do with the "All in One " package.I have 3 HR24's and ain't giving them up.
Oh I thought they required a Genie + Clients. Where can I see these "all in one" packages?Me too, but that has nothing to do with the "All in One " package.
Come to think of it, they may require a Genie, I've had for so long I forgot that that may be a requirement.Oh I thought they required a Genie + Clients. Where can I see these "all in one" packages?
I have a genie 2 and 3 4K mini'sI have 3 HR24's and ain't giving them up.
The only thing that i don't take with a grain of salt out of a CSR'S mouthSame RATE increases every year --The only gift you can count on
I have a HS17 and 3 4k minis. For me there is no 7.00 for the first mini or the tower. I agree they need a genie that can output 4k not needing 2 devices. My plan is all included but they still nail me for the 2 other minis just not the hd fee's. Though there waiving the fee for the other two minis for a year for me. But next year I'll be charged what they call a mirror fee for those 2 minis.I've got a Genie, 2 HR24's and a C61k.
Which is a whole other issue, 1st they should have a recvr that does 4k, so you don't have to have 2 devices just to have 4k and 2nd, they shouldn't charge you for that C61k seeing its the only way to get 4k.
Then again, if you happen to be on the "All Included" plan, you get up to 4 recvrs I think under that plan, I'll have to check my bill now that I'm thinking about it.
Otherwise it's $7 p/m that you shouldn't have to pay.
Per the DTV website, all DTV Stream packages now include unlimited cloud DVR at no extra cost (instead the extra $10/mo that they were charging). My subscription (streaming) is up 10.00 next bill. Decisions, decisions, decisions? Had the service for 5 years on introductory offer most have cancelled by now. Kept the service for two channels available on other streaming platforms but because I thought those two channels have subjectively better picture quality on this service. Picture quality is important to me but so should money be also. Therefore the decision is all but set in stone. I have not been the smartest person to pay for an entire service for two channels because of subjectively better streaming picture quality.
I don't have unlimited cloud DVR in my price. I have been on a legacy introductory sign up price offer that I thought was supposed to stay the same but has been continually increasing. The offer and service is great but I'm thinking most of those that had this offer have cancelled by now probably due to the price increases and they have other better services. For me a hole lot of channels that I do not watch because I have another service. My next bill is going up 10.00 more. I have kept the service because of two channels available elsewhere that I felt the picture quality on those two channels was subjective better on Direct TV (streaming) than the other available platforms. I feel I am wasting money to have an entire service for two channels in subjectively better streaming quality. I also mainly only watch one of those channels. I have another service better than Direct TV (that service is not a streaming service) that does not have those two channels. I feel that I have been stupid to pay this much money for so long (five years) for two channels. Sorry if I'm saying too much.Per the DTV website, all DTV Stream packages now include unlimited cloud DVR at no extra cost (instead the extra $10/mo that they were charging).
So if you're currently paying an extra $10/mo for unlimited cloud DVR, then you shouldn't see a price change next month since the elimination of that fee will offset the $10 price increase on your base package.
Yeah, I think you'd have to *really* like those two channels to make it worthwhile to keep your DTV Stream subscription. But then that's purely subjective. No one can answer that but you.I don't have unlimited cloud DVR in my price.
