Salsa, I was listening to NFL Radio on Sirius at lunch and they were talking about this subject. The host and Marty Schottenheimer both agreed it was Oakland. Neither could understand why anyone would ever accept a head coaching job there. Al Davis has complete control over everything and does not allow his head coach to also manage/oversee his coordinators. This makes it impossible for anyone to be on the same page and it never works out in the end. As a result, the firing, quitting and rebuild is inevitable. I give Kiffin till week 4. If he's fired, it's a blessing in disguise.
Well....They were right, but Marty has never been subdued about his hatred for the Raiders, so I take ANYTHING he says about the Raiders with a grain of salt.... But IF Lane quits, it is too bad because I think he could have the team going in the right direction. He is a VERY smart kid(I could say kid because I am older than he is....LOL).
