Here is my RAIDERS WINNING SCHEDULED

Or to find a payday... dude is good but I'm not sure how many teams would have given the 31 y/o Richard Seymour a 1 year $12m deal, especially teams that would feel lucky to be .500.

It's like they're paying a chunk of that money they'd have paid to a first round pick anyways, without the potential of that money paying dividends for the next decade via production on the field.

Don't you have to win MORE than you lose to have a WINNING SEASON ?

Title of the thread caught me by surprise ....

Do Raider fans feel under 9 wins is a winning season ?

Just wondering ...

It does say WINNING SCHEDULE[strike] D [/strike]. Since everyone's record starts out 0-0, even Raider fans have the right to be optimistic about their season in June. ;)

0-1 @ Titans - This is probably a win if Chris Johnson holds out
1-1 Rams
2-1 @ Cardinals - assuming they have some problems, and really miss Warner
2-2 Texans
3-2 Chargers - Probably will be a loss, but gave all home division games a W, a lot still TBD w/ the Chargers due to holdouts, loss of veterans.
3-3 @ 49ers
3-4 @ Broncos
4-4 Seahawks - Could be a loss, really not sure what we'll see from Seattle this year, but Raiders hosting
5-4 Chiefs
- BYE -
5-5 @ Steelers
5-6 Dolphins - Could probably go either way.
5-7 @ Chargers
6-7 @ Jaguars - Bad team, but could be a loss due to travel
7-7 Broncos
7-8 Colts
7-9 @ Chiefs

Could see a winning season and a lot of reason to hope early in the season, but their late schedule is not nice. Split the division, rather than trying to predict it, those games are usually good no matter what teams are on the decline/improving, that's an automatic 3-3.

Could see 4-12, could see 9-7. Likely something in-between, so I'd guess 6-10

JaMarcus Russell Arrested!

Does he still think he's too good for the CFL/UFL?

MOBILE, Ala. -- Former Oakland Raiders quarterback JaMarcus Russell has been charged with possession of a controlled substance -- codeine syrup -- after being arrested at his home in Alabama on Monday, authorities said.

The 24-year-old former LSU star and the No. 1 draft choice in 2007 was arrested as part of an undercover narcotics investigation, said Mobile County Sheriff's spokeswoman Lori Myles. She would not say what led to his arrest. She said he did not have a prescription for the codeine.

Russell, who graduated from high school in Mobile, was booked into the city jail and released soon afterward on $2,500 bond, online records show.

The Raiders released Russell, considered one of the NFL's biggest draft busts, in May after he won only seven of his 25 starts and was benched.

Oakland paid Russell about $36.4 million through the 2009 season. Since the start of the common draft in 1967, only one other No. 1 pick was released this quickly in his NFL career.

Yeah, Jason Campbell probably going to cause the Pats first rounder from the Raiders next draft to drop a couple spots, shucks. Now when you trade down it'll only be wirth 2 2nds and a 4th instead of a 3rd ;)

WIth what they're paying Seymour, it's like they're paying out that first round salary absent the return on investment in a player that will be around for a decade.
