I purchased a 322 receiver from an online retailer, hoping to be able to use this with an old switch SW21. I was going to put a splitter after the switch and before it reaches the receiver. DISH Network informed me that i cannot do that. They want me to purchase the SW34 switch (which costs 110$).
The question I have is if a bi-directional splitter will work ?
Any help is appreciated. Thanks
:confused:

No it wont, you have to have either 2 dedicated lines from an lnbf or switch or purchase a dishpro plus lnbf and use a dishpro seperator to split the coax at the receiver.

No such animal.

It's either a SW64 (for Legacy gear) or a DP34 (for DishPro gear).

{The following assumes you're in a Dish500 market, no wings, no Superdish.}

Either one is wrong for a 322 (and no other receiver). Either kind of Twin will do.

If your existing receiver is going to stay in use, get a DishProPlus Twin.

A Quad will also work. If the existing box is a Legacy (4-digit model number), then get a Legacy Quad, otherwise (3-digit model number) get a DishPro Quad,
