Help - Where is the DVR522

After hearing about the upcoming DISH DVR522, I am now throughly frustrated.

I have called Dish every day and get a different message each time. The gestimated announcement day was md November. Dish will tell you nothing except that they are aware of the new model.

Yesterday they told me they will not be carrying the 522 and I should check with RadioShack or Sears, which I have done with no success.

Anyone have any other ideas?

The 522 is only available with the home digital plan with dish. THe same is true with the 322 receiver. I have talked to Mark at Dishdepot.com yesterday and he said the 523 will be coming out next year for current subs . He didn't talk about the 322 for current subs.

I'll say this again. STOP CALLING. When you hear about it here, then you can try to call. Obviously if no one here has heard anything than of course the customer reps won't know as well.

This is why they did not want to announce these receivers on the technical and charlie chats these past couple three months.

This isn't true. I walked into my local dealer last night, he told me he expected the 522's today. He called today after they arrived, I picked up the two he received and activated them tonight no problem (I'm not on the DHP)
