I've got a P* 1.2m that I used for WSTV, thought I would try to get the NASA channel on 119w. I tried a couple of different LNBs, a Zinwell ZKF-G52N, and another dss LNB I robbed from a frisbee dish, no joy. I thought with the size of that dish, I should be able to get it with no problem. I was hoping to use the Zinwell because the throat size fits almost perfectly in the P* holder. I set the LO freq for 11250, tried others, bypassed all the switches, no joy. I notice the setup page for 119w shows V & H instead of L & R. Will a Coolsat 6k receive circular sigs?, is there a way to change the programming to receive circular?

yes the Coolsat 6000 will receive circular. The setup is
SINGLE
11250 LNB freq

To setup circular, just remember "RV"
right polarity is vertical
left polarity is horizontal

The key thing is on 119 the first 5 odd transponders are spotbeams so you may not see them. Use this TP
12238 H 20000 to aim the dish

it wont hurt the meter...I was just joking :)

If you want to use a 1.2m on a DBS sat go ahead. You can be probably 5 degrees off and still almost max the meter :p
