Hi everyone.

I am confused as how i would point the 101 LNB on a DTV 3 LNB (third one if looking from behind dish) to 110 or 119 for Dish Network.

As i understand these can be used for Dish but only 1 LNB is truly usable (the 101).

Could someone more knowledgeable help me understand how i can only make use of only the LNB to the right?

Is there a reason for skew settings since i will only be using 1 LNB out of the 3?

I apologize in advance if it is a dumb question.

Thank you!

I can't think of a scientific way to approach it, but in 2005 I simply held the dish in my hand and could pick up 82W. The circular birds are so powerful, that mounting the dish on a pole , and getting close to the right elevation/skew will probably give you a signal pretty quickly. Then you can decide which bird you're looking at, and compensate your aim. Probably aiming the center lnbf at 119W will get you in the ballpark.
:)

There isnt much on the circular satellites that are FTA....but for fun skew the dish back to 90 so all 2 LNB's look horizontal in a row. Use the right LNB (if you're looking at the LNB's from behind the dish) and aim from there with the elevation info from dishpointer or thelist
