Help Please With The Phone Line !(or Lack Thereof)

1.-I have a directv goes to school account with no phone line in my classroom
2.-I called directv to activate service
3.-I have brought the receiver dtv tivo r10 to my house to activate the DVR at home with my phone line. It went through, downloaded everything and the screen told me it was successful.
4.-When I bring the system back to class it tells me I need to call dtv to activate the dvr service and does not let me tape any shows.
5.-What do I do now? I want to tape shows for my students.
I am so lost!!! Help guys!!! :confused: :confused: :confused: :confused:
 
Are you SURE they sent the DVR activation signal while the receiver was hooked up to the dish? Sometimes, it doesn't always take on the first hit they send & they sometimes have to do it again while you're on the phone. (that's why you should always do the initial phone call FIRST, THEN call to have the DVR service & the programming added)

Just get it hooked back up to the dish, call D* & tell them they need to hit the DVR service again & it should activate just fine.
 
Thank you very much. I called Directv and they fired it up. He claimed that some mirroring needed to be done. I have no idea what that meant but my Tivo works and it is awesome! Love it!
