Help configuring Coolsat 6000 DiSEqC

Hi Folks,
I fist posted fta noob, about a week or so ago.
I now have my system and 2 dishes, 1 Direcway and 1 Primestar.
the Direcway uses the original lnb as does the Primestar.

My problem is this: I can hook up either dish to the receiver, and receive fta channels from 2 different birds. When I insert the switch I am clueless as to the settings in the receiver that need to be changed to properly operate the switch. There is no info on this in the documentation included with the unit.
Can anyone walk me thru this???

make sure to power off the reciever on the back before inserting a switch as to not do damage to the switch.

Hook one dish to port 1 of the diseqc switch and the other to port 2

IN the menu setup go under "dish setup" and at the bottom of the list it says "diseqc setup". Change it to correspond to the right dish.

So (example) if you have a dish at G10 on port 1 and a dish at IA5 (G25) on port 2, the settings would be diseqc 1 for G10 and 2 for IA5

Since the post, I found if I use ports 2 and 4 it works fine.
