Help aligning dish

I have HD Direct Tv and a 3 LNB Dish. I am having a hell of a time trying to lock in on all 3 sats. I can get one but not the other two. I can locate all of them but can't lock in to all 3 without losing one or the other.. I thought I read that once I have one sat the rest should be close by. What gives?

Make sure that the mast/pole is perfectly plumb/level. Do NOT adjust the skew whatsoever, only left to right (azimuth) and up and down (elevation). If your mast or pole is not perfectly plumb you will get one satellite in but the other two will not come in easily as the skew will be off.

Also are there any trees or bushes in front of the dish or in the area? Another thing to keep in mind is that you have to have it set up in the menu to accept the 3 LNBF oval dish.
